These select skins are aniline-dyed and hand-rubbed with a glazing finish that features a metallic glimmer to accentuate the exceptional natural softness and unique texture of each individual skin.

Brushed Metallic Lambskin will create a subtle yet sophisticated look to your next interior! Although lambskins are fairly small in size, a skilled upholsterer can create beautiful small chairs, large tufted pieces or even accents and pillows!

On Friday November 18, our own Ron McDaniel was honored with a Point of Excellence award by Wilson Associates in Dallas. The annual luncheon to benefit The Wilson Foundation was held at the Ritz Carlton Dallas.

The Wilson Foundation is the recipient of two annual "Point of Excellence" luncheons hosted by Wilson Associates. These annual events are held in Dallas and in Los Angeles, and were established by Wilson Associates to honor excellence in service to the design industry. Each year, several vendors and service providers are selected to receive the "Point of Excellence" award. Because the luncheon is underwritten by Wilson Associates, 100% of the proceeds benefit The Wilson Foundation.

The Wilson Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, was established by Trisha Wilson in 1997 to address the needs of disadvantaged and underserved children. Most of their work is focused in Limpopo Province, South Africa, an area devastated by extreme poverty, unemployment, substandard education, and an HIV/AIDS pandemic that has left a staggering number of orphans and other vulnerable children in its wake.

The Wilson Foundation makes grants to the NGO's (nongovernmental organizations) that serve the needs of the people in this region.

Winning a Point of Excellence award is no small achievement. This is something that generally acknowledges a career of service to Wilson, but Ron won this honor in his second year. This award is a reflection on every single person in the Townsend Leather family. Congratulations Ron!

Perfectly Pebbled is an aniline-dyed, finished cowhide that has been embossed with a small pebbled grain embossing, which gives a sophisticated look to leather.
